I have never laughed so hard in a rather long time.
At FC1 Ryan was telling us about girls.. yes girls.
He was also talking about how wee siong, kang li, wei ming and jen kaen are future big names in society.
Then Jian Wei and I cant tell when is he lying la. Esp when he talking abt girls. TSK. perv. LOL.
Then he said we love him blah blah.
It sounds retard now. But, I laughed till stomach pain la.

Then hor after school. stayed back do CPPB at lib. Ryan's group also haven finish. As expected, Ryan, Jian Wei and Sharad cracked me up again. I was super red la. Lobster as Jen Kaen said.
We talk abt Jen Kaen's GF, how to survive in all guy school for FOUR years and how alwin was gay. I was laughin so hard I was stumbling to another chair so I can settle down then I was like using my laptop bag to cover my face. LOL. uber paiseh :)

But its fun.
This is by far the funniest day in poly.

Math test was pretty okay today. At least the scholars made some mistakes so we have chance of getting pretty close to them ! (: HAHA. Sharad also claims to have pshyic powers. Seriously he made Yong Le fall without doing anything. HAHA.

OH then I met ShiHui twice in school today. Well not really. She saw me I could see her. LOL.
First time really not my fault. We were pretty far away. i think..
Second time. hehe. we were on the SAME FLIGHT OF STAIRS and I missed her. Haiss I told her its the stress la! She don believe find lo. Go write your i love you, you love me essay la. HAHA. no no seriously its a nice topic ^^

Okay.. then Meiqi was like super panicky(if there's such a word) today la. All cos of the math test. See what it does to people? Anyway Sam and I pulled her to join our class for revision (: She's a nice person.. I used to think she was pretty tao and everything. So ya. Doubt clarified. ^^

Now I gotta go do CPPB (:

Back from a tiring day at school.

How contradicting is this. I was sitting next to the glass panel on the MRT today hor. Then I saw this guy reading memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew.. I was like woah.. must be some knowledgeable guy. Then when he turned his hand, I saw his book mark, it was a half naked babe :S WTF ! What age are we in now.. even pervs read about Lee Kuan Yew. HAHAHA.

This was probably the most interesting thing today.
Better get on with my math. SO GONNA FAIL TMR DE MATH !




Went to my parent's church today cos my own church havin combined worship.
Msg in Chinese translated to Cantonese or isit the other way around. either way, its not gonna help me much. LOL. and the english translation place is always full (limited seats really)
Hence, I decided to go somewhere where I actually understood what was being said (:

LOL. then went novena for lunch after church.
Then once I reached back home, I had this sudden impulse to watch pirates(dead man's chest)
So after that I did my math ! *applaude myself

A worship leader in my church called and ask me co-lead with him during youth day next sunday. scary propect. I'm pretty nervous. oO
At least Nathanael will be playing, Steph and Crystal doing backup (:
So at least I feel it makes it better ! I seriously hope that one day, the youth can lead worship by ourselves, but that's another story for another day. There's still a long way to go (: But we'll get there! ^^ I'm sure of it.

The last week of the hols have been uber boring. So far of four days, I've been stuck at home for 3 days STUDYING ! Gosh~

My frens all going out and everythingg and I'm stuck at home.. studying!
Mainly cos I just realised that the four tests coming up are rather BIG subj. So I'll just take it one at a time. Hais.

Ystd I went back to buy stuff for this friday's BBQ.
I seriously hope everyone that said they will come will turn up. Cos we bought food enough to feed 50 odd people. Which is bad if smth like 30 ppl turn up only.. YA! somemore there wont be any point having the games and movie screening.

SO I hopw people will come ! YAY !
Then sat gotta go for mission convention :S
Long time since I been to one. Cos I'm on the committee representing the youths so must go.
I think so far like Jojo, Amd and Cancy nia. zz.

anyway of to do my squeezing theorm which i seriously got no idea how to do it. :S

Its not THAT much of a discussion, just joking around and everything, but it is really getting me to wonder will my close frens now still be close frens in future? I certainly hope so. Sec sch peeps, Poly peeps.. future NS peeps.. and of cos church peeps !! YEP !

I really can't imagine what life would be like without all these great people around me la. Some of my close frens(Jolene and Pris) went to aus and we have hardly anytime to talk. Hope can get to catch up with them when they come back to singapore. (: And that doreen, yes that stupid plankton also leaving ! RAR ~! Next thing I know sophie and min would be telling me that they are going to aus too. HAHA. maybe its time I listen to my dad and go overseas eh? LOL.

Well, sophie's currently tellin me she wont, but we'll see. OH you know what.. She's gonna complete Uni faster than me. which means start earning $$ faster than me and hence gotta pay for me stuffs next time we go out..

OKAYYYY.. I'm seriously digressing from my thing about good frens.

and I'll eat humble pie today.. Fukuan did MF proud.. This week at least.

Hmm. I'm back from Malaysia ! Missed me people ? HAHAHA
Well, it was a bitter sweet experience to put it in a more chim sounding manner. LOL.
No, but seriously, I enjoyed the time with my cousins, the fantastic scenery and yes, the great food. Thats the sweet.
But I also got food poisoning on saturday, and I couldn't take the cable car to the top of some hill in langkawi. That's the bitter part. LOL.

But all in all, I thought it was a rather good trip away from the stress and a good time to sort out some of my thoughts. Not that I got much done tho. Maybe I'm thinking too much, cos its all too confusing. ZZZZ.

Anyway, drove our way to penang with this rented van, rather comfortable actually.
Managed to sleep through, mostly anyway. Bar the fact Ivan and Sharon were both trying to keep me awake for the whole journey. LOL.

At Penang, I stayed at Bayview hotel. Not bad hotel actually. Rested for awhile before taking a walk around Penang in the afternoon. I went to the GYM after that ! ^^ Thats besides the point. on the first night, we ate junk food at some hawker. My uncle's uncles and aunties brought us to some shopping centers after dinner.

The second day at Penang was spent touring Penang, Butterfly park, toy museum, some coffee and batik place and a tram ride up Penang hill (: The view was pretty nice, I've seen better tho.
Reached back the hotel 5 plus? I wen to the gym again ! YAY ! Had seafood dinner, which had nearly no seafood apart from one fish and a squid. ZZZ.
Went back to hotel played around with cousins for awhile and around 11pm, we went to this revolving retaurant on top of the hotel. Could see the night view of Penang. WOW ! hahahaha. The view, as dark as it was, was beautiful. The lights and everything.. Had some cocktail called "sex on the beach". Seriously, I'm not being a perv here. It was either vodka or gin mixed with pineapple juice. I had the vodka mixed with pineapple juice. DAMN NICE ! I wanted to get another cup had my mum not stopped me ! LOL. My uncle had this wine and coke float. Tasted awful to be honest. HAHA. :x Oh ya then Ivan and I shared this apple pie with vanilla ice-cream. YUM !

Slept at 1.30am that night.

Third day, we got up pretty early and headed to the jetty for a boat ride to Langkawi ! It was a 2.5hours journey and slept through most of the journey. Some old jackie chan show was running while the ship was moving. By the time we reached Langkawi and settled in the hotel, it was about 2pm. I went for a swim with my cousins. We left the hotel about 4pm for a boat ride. We went into a bat cave, crocodile cave(which doesn't have crocs, its just the limestones -___-), saw many many many many eagles and went to a fish farm which I managed to touch a stingray, horseshoe crab and even an eel ! (UNAGI ! ) hahaa. Well, I guess I didnt wash my hands properly after that cos that night I had bad food poisoning I missed the most part of Saturday morning when my cousins and my dad went to this super nice waterfall. Although they didnt see much else due to the rain, the waterfall was worth it. From what I can see from the pictures anyway..

So in the afternoon when I felt better, we tried the cable car ride, well, we wanted to. But it was closed due to fog. ZZZ. so drove around admiring the beaches and had seafood dinner again ! HAHAA.

On sunday, we tried going to the cable car thingy again and well, service has not resumed as lightning has struck something and they have technical difficulties will only be ready on monday.. Right, and i have to catch a flight back to Singapore that evening. How nice.. Anyway spent most of that day shopping and watching tv and going to this private beach owned by the hotel. OH! btw, the hotel is called langkawi lagoon ! (: Super nice can ! I missed out playing pool there la ! ZZZ.

Oh, before I forget, on the last night, my dad and uncle bought some wine and stuff. It was nice pigging on the last night while watchin HBO with my cousins, I cant rmb exactly the name of the wine my dad and uncle bought, but I know one of them(the one I liked) was Jacobs creek cabernet sauvignon. (: But only had like two glasses. My uncle told me he liked it with steak or lamb, well, I guess it goes just as well with penuts, tau sar pia and other malaysian delicacies some funny sweets and stuffs la basically.

Now, my darlings.. I'm officially home!

anyway super frantic la while looking for my wallet.
After jamming went vivo meet atikah to find shi hui x)
Then winnie came later. Shi Hui de fren birthday so she went to sing happy birthday etc..
Then we three waited for her la..
Winnie and I bought VINCO DOUGHNUTS !
its damn nice I tell you. and cheap too !
So after that met Shi Hui again.. Walked around for 40mins before deciding where to eat. :S
and then that stupid atikah bought doughnuts to eat just now. then dinner full alr keep passing her chicken around. super paiseh la. But we had a great laugh ^^
After that walk walk awhile, went to the top and the three of them were like out to wet me, my laptop and my doughnuts. !! HAHA.
Oh did I mention Atikah took the escalator up thought that there was no exit (which was infact right in front of her) and she went down.. Hilarious I tell you. Then play the water there.
After that we took mrt home xD
Laugh alot of the train. and at smb, shi hui missed two buses la ! thanks to her slow reaction and everything else.. shan't describe too much. LOL.

Thats about what I did ystd.

I share her sentiments exactly. Time can really change people.
Not totally, but at least make people feel distant from each other and everything.

For me, I do feel that way la. I was telling sophie that we haven had a decent conversation since dunno when. I guess she agrees. Its always... RAR~ dunno la. Its the weird feeling that you have alot to say but you dunno what to say?

Yep, and its not only sophie, there's a few others which I feel we're like unable to just have a heart to heart talk, share probs etc. Its become a problem gnawing at me everyday. I mean I'm not that naive to think that nothing will change. But I didn't expect that big a change.

I definitely do not blame my friends neither do I blame myself actually. Its just time lo. But I'm sure we'll overcome it with true friendship tho.

I went for a Leadership seminar today.
It was really a wake up call.
I was a councillor and I have been to many different leadership courses.
BUT this my friends, this, is special!

After attending alot of leadership seminar I used to think I'm a pretty good leader. Being a servant leader and all. Because, all the seminars tell me stuff I already know.
But after today's seminar. I realise how shallow my idea on leadership was. How inadequate I am.

The example that struck me was the very first one. LEADERSHIP is like an iceberg.
90% of it is below the water 10% above the water. Its like us as leaders, our talents, our skills, these are the 10% that people see. But who are we as a person? What are our morals and ideals? These are the things beneath that people do not see. But these are also the thing that makes or breaks us as a leader.

I'm not saying the 10% is not important. But the 90% is more important. You wow people with the 10% but you influence people with the 90%.

Let me elaborate, The 90% is our foundation. A nice building without a good foundation will topple. But and average building with strong foundations will last.
Like in the case of the titanic. Had the ice berg been a small one, (Just the tip with a small base) Do you think a big ship like titanic would sink? Studies shown that it was the bottom of the ice berg that caused the titanic to sink.

So how did this strike me? I always thought I was a pretty good leader cos I always get the job done and practise servant leadership blah blah blah.. I was doing well in the 10% but my 90% was no where near where it should be.

I tell white lies to cover up for friends, I look down on people, I tease people etc.
These aren't traits of a leader. Thankfully I went for this seminar that helped me get back on the right track. There were other things also in the seminar but it would take up alot of space to write everything.

All in all it was a damn good seminar. It was in a totally different league to those I attended in my secondary school days.

Oh one last thing..
Before go. I said to myself I'll post my core values on my blog x))

Of course these are in no particular order. Its just a guide of how I wanna live my life :DD
