DAY 1
We went to church at 12pm !
then hanson was like LATE ! he thought reach chuch at 1.30pm
blur la ! okay. so it was partially my fault for not picking up his countless phone calls and replying his many messages. Oops !
but still the time was PRINTED ON THE PACKING LIST THING !
then so on the bus no hanson. so quiet.
We also split into our groups ! HUIMIN (group leader), ABIGAIL, FABIAN, JONATHAN AND ME !
sookhar collected our money.
When we reached the campsite, we went to unpack and everything.
after that we started cleaning up the place.
We played some games to like warm-up. it included an auction :D
we only bought one item. which turned out very useful (: can ask joseph !
althouh the games supposed to warm us up, huimin with all her shoutinga and antics made the whole camp high la !
Then laugh laugh at every little thing. LOL.
That night after dinner we had worship, practise Christmas carols then
we prac our lip sync item.
We were supposed to sleep at 1130 latest 12
Well, we did "SLEEP"
In a nutshell there were 8 ppl on one bed !
Hanson, Joseph, John, ME, Amanda, Jolene, Andrea and Fabian joined us later. WAHAHAHA!

Day2
We woke up at 7 plus to do QT wuth our assigned partners. LOL.
After QT john's group prepared breakfast for the whole house. EDIDBLE, i think.. HAHA.
Then the speaker came. His anem was Dr Ng Wei Liang. Very interesting speaker. Very cute illustrations. HAHA.
We also realise huimin kept falling off her chair. just like in the 2nd day's msg. LOL.
As john's group prepared lunch, i think i went out for a walk with the rest. went to play PARA PARA!
i think we are all obssessed with that machine after the camp. LOL
dance dance dance. then nearly missed lunch. =X
had spagetti !! YAY !
rather nice its cheesy and everything.
NAT CAME! love him !! wheeee!
After a short break the "LOVING NICE KIND AND HOT" chrystal made us WET !
literally drenched us with her evil counterpart andrea.
their aim. wet us and not get wet. EVIL !!
actually in the end they got wet too playin to drip drip drop.
Then andrea got minorly sabo-ed during dog and bone :D

after all the wet games and all, we washed up. had dinner ! during the break we went to play soccer and played PARA PARA ! LOL.
Dinner finished le, we had carolling prac.
My parents came over to give supper and talk talk to the teachers cos they frens ma.
Then after that everyone was delaying lights out time. By the time everyone was in their room it was like 2am. Zzzz.

Day3
Today was OFF-SITE GAMES DAY !
Morning we basically slack around while waiting for our branch.
YUMMY. it was beehoon, chicken wings, eggs, ham and veg !! :D
eat le. I led worship that day cos HANSON LAZY !
then we got briefed about the amazing race.
JOHN and my group had a plan to stop JOSEPH's group cos they were leading and all.
The game started with bowling. (so paiseh! don ask me what happened)
Then go arcade.
Then.. the race started. First stop was the FOUNTAIN OF WEALTH where we had to take pic of HOT guys (must be for the HOT chrys herself) *shakes head*
then from there solve some puzzle then go esplanade.
from esplanade we had to take pic of 2 ppl with same shoes/ slippers. hard la. luckily got one guy same as abi :D
After that we were made to solve some crossword. we gave up and did the forfeit taking a pic with celebrities. cos luckily got some there. can't rmb their names. SORRY !!
From there. then go back soup spoon in cityhall. Then supposed to go find someone with brithday on that day. Luckily got one boy birthday that day.
After that, off we went to national library. Had to go to 14th storey only to find out we gotta pic of a person who has read a book. which in on the FIRST FLOOR ! okay not first floor. BASEMENT (thanks to the HOT chrystal once again) :D
Then after that gotta go back up to 14th sloor find some red cloth she placed on a building. WALAO ! i thought big big de la. then in the end some small crappy thing! Zzz.
LOL.
Anyway, we go there then asked to find a michael jackson drink. Actually its just soyabean mixed with grass jelly -.-
After that find the place where the latest sg idols stay. My goup made a wrong turn. Then in the end met up with john's group. We were like leading ! zzz. nvm :D our aim was to make joseph lose anyway. So in end result was John and My group drew (:
Go back Ps Alby, Ps Chee Kiong and Tim bought the famous changi nasi lemak for us ! YUM !
Then Ps Ably walked us through the carols and everything. With the remaining time we practise the lip sync thing.
That night people sneaked out. HAHA
Go swimming. :D
While others were slacking around crapping. Another later night.

Day4
Morning woke up at the usual timing. Go do QT. After that eat breakfast.
After breakfast, the speaker came. continued with the second and final part of the message. HUIMIN once agian nearlly fell off the chair ! (Tim and I concluded that she has to fall at least once a day) because that day breakfast she tripped over my leg la. I dunno how. LOL.
Then after the message, some of us spoke to the speaker. He's a real doctor lehs ! While some of us went to the arcade.
My group prepared lunch! Fried Rice! I cook de lehs ! FULLY EDIBLE!
Then lunch was served by my group. Eat le. YUMMY YUMMY !
After luch got dirty games. surprisingly my goup won 2 out of 3 of the games.
Played with some food dye thing.
Then play captain's abll with a sponge soaked in soya sauce (sorry john for squeezing soya sauce in your face. You asked for it. LOL !) jkjk
Play Frisbee with whipped cream on top of frisbee.
THen i got soap in my mouth and eyes!!
After that got this disgusting but fun version of twister.

We all then washed up and had dinner.
Got CURRY ! :D woots ! nice sia (:
Then Hanson led woship outside. Very fun worship i thought. Then we went thought the carols before a last min lip sync prac.
During the lip synce competition, we drew lots !

3. Hui Min's Group (My Group)

Then i enjoyed watching all the perfomances la.
Very nice.
Then end result was that John and Joseph's Group drew with 85 points each and My group sneaked it by just 3 points. scoring 88! Thanks to out marketing, teamwork and creativity ! :D

But since lip sync counted as the main event, Hui Min's Group won everything!

But since its just a friendly competition, we decided we should share the spoils between Joseph and Hui Min's group as everyone put in alot of effort. *claps*
The last night usually nobody sleeps! But since many were tired most of us slept. Among those that didn't sleep, Some went to the beach while others walked to downtown east.

Day5
Well, All good things have to come to an end.

The bus arived at 11am
Many of us were tired.
We slept on the bus
When we reached chruch, we unpacked some stuffs.
Go for lunch at Kopitiam
Then we went home.
But i didn't join them for lunch at kopitiam.
Kinda last minute and I lazy la. Wanna Slp !
HAHA


This is just a personal reflection. I don't think I did a really good job as camp commandant because like everyone all stayed up late and everything, but I do hope everyone really enjoyed the camp and we will grow closer as a youth goup. GYM. At least for now we are closer than before. I think so anyway. :D

Well, its a new year and I hope GYM will grow not only spiritually but also in numbers :D
